The red serving bowls for a long Sunday brunch

The number that matters here is 78 ounces, about 9.75 cups, a size meant for salad, pasta or a shared side at a table. The listing sells two red bowls with a bohemian pattern in a glazed ceramic that goes in the microwave and the dishwasher.

The listing gives 78 oz in the title for a set of 2 and does not say whether that figure is per bowl or for the pair, so check that before planning around it. It also gives no diameter, depth or weight, which matter for fridge shelves and for carrying a full bowl to the table. The bowls belong to the Vancasso SIMI Serie line, which the listing says runs from large serving bowls to small cereal bowls.

The material is listed as ceramic with a glossy glaze, and also as porcelain fired at a high temperature. The listing does not give the firing temperature. It states the glazes are lead free and that porcelain does not absorb odor, which is a claim about the material rather than a tested figure. Care is simple on paper: hand washing or the dishwasher, and the microwave for reheating. No oven, freezer or temperature limits are stated.

The red bowls carry a bohemian pattern, and the listing suggests hanging them on a wall or setting them on a shelf, though it mentions no hanging hardware or hole. A green version is also sold. The set is pitched as a gift for housewarmings, birthdays or weddings, which is the seller’s suggestion and not something the specification can confirm.
