Hazelholm

A small house journal about things worth keeping

About Hazelholm

Hazelholm is a small house journal about the things a household actually keeps: the mixer that still works after ten winters, the knife worth sharpening, the gift that does not end up in a drawer.

How we work

We read specifications, manuals and the long tail of owner reviews, and we compare products against the ones they are meant to replace. What we publish is research, and we write it as research — we do not claim to have tested these products in our own kitchens. Where a judgement rests on a number, the number is in the text.

No brand pays us to be written about, and no brand sees a piece before it is published. When we link to Amazon and you buy something, Amazon pays us a share of the sale; the price you pay is unchanged. That is set out in full on our disclosure page.
