The sweatpants for a slow Sunday on the sofa

A high waisted, wide leg sweatpant in a half polyester, half cotton blend, with a drawstring and pockets. The listing calls the fit baggy and relaxed, which suits a small flat where the sofa, the stove and the front door are all a few steps apart. Here is what the listing says, and what it leaves out.

The fabric is 50% polyester and 50% cotton, and the listing describes the blend as comfortable, durable and soft against the skin. The title says fleece lined, but the feature bullets never describe the lining, its weight or how warm it is, so the warmth is something the listing leaves unstated. Care is listed as machine wash, with no temperature or drying advice, and the pants are imported.

The cut is high waisted with a wide, straight leg. The listing calls it baggy and relaxed, with a drawstring to adjust the waist and pockets for storing essentials. The listing calls the shape spacious, meant for comfort during workouts or leisure time. The drawstring is what lets the wearer decide how snug the waist feels. The material gives no inseam, rise measurement or size chart, so length and exact fit are not something this note can state.

The listing suggests workouts, yoga, lounging at home and running errands. For styling it offers a fitted top for a balanced look or an oversized sweatshirt for a cozy one, and which of those you prefer is a matter of taste. It is also sold in Brown, Black Grey and Orange.
