The massage gun for sore shoulders at the end of a long day

A percussion massager either ends up in a drawer or stays by the sofa, and the difference is usually how easy it is to pick up. This one is cordless, charges by USB cable, and lists a motor rated at 40 to 50 dB, which suits a quiet evening at home.

The listing gives 12mm of penetration and speeds up to 3200 rpm, with multiple levels from low to medium to high. That range matters for a tool like this, because the gentle end is what gets used on an ordinary tired evening, while the strong end is for specific sore spots. The speed level and the remaining battery show on an LED touch screen, so neither is a guess.

It comes with 10 replaceable massage heads, which the listing describes as easy to disassemble and clean. It names the back, arms and legs as places to use it. Battery life is given as up to 6 hours, depending on the speed selected, and charging is by USB cable. The listing says the charging plug is not included, so you would supply your own.

The listing does not state the weight, the exact number of speed levels or the charge time, and its claims stop at muscle fatigue and soreness. It is offered as a gift for the holidays, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. A gift like this earns its place only if it stays within reach and keeps getting used long after the wrapping is gone. This version is black, and Silver, Carbon and Grey are also sold.
