The hobo bag for a day that starts at the desk and ends at dinner

A large hobo bag in PU leather with a top zipper, tassels and a removable strap, sized for a 13.3 inch laptop and a full day out. Below, the pockets, the measurements and the weight as listed, plus the things the listing leaves unsaid.

The listing gives the size as 15.2 inches long, 5.1 inches deep and 13 inches tall. The short handle stands 7.9 inches high, and the whole bag weighs about 0.95 kilograms, which is worth knowing before you load it. The removable strap adjusts from 25.98 to 48.03 inches, so the listing says it works as a top handle bag, a tote or a crossbody.

Inside, the listing counts two main pockets, one zipper compartment, one zipper pocket and two slot pockets. On the outside there are two side zipper pockets and one back zipper pocket, and the top closes with a zipper. The listing says it holds a 13.3 inch MacBook Pro, a 9.7 inch iPad, an A4 magazine, an umbrella, a wallet and cosmetics. Tassels are the only decoration mentioned.

The material is listed as PU leather, also called faux leather or imitation leather, and described as scratch resistant. The listing also mentions a reinforced strap, improved zippers and shock and wear tests, but gives no test standard or result. It does not state the lining, the hardware finish, the colors or any water resistance. How it sits on the shoulder, slouchy or stiff, is a matter of taste the listing does not settle. It is imported.
