The face brush for the quiet end of a long day

Evening arrives, the makeup comes off, and the bathroom shelf has room for one small thing. This silicone face brush has five vibration levels, a metal end that heats to 40°C, and a stand, all in a pink body that charges over a USB cable. It also comes in black and green.

The brush has two jobs, set by its five vibration levels. Levels 1 to 3 are the cleansing mode, meant to be used with your own facial cleanser on the silicone bristles. Levels 4 and 5 are the massage mode, which uses the textured back side of the head. The listing describes the bristles as soft, odorless silicone and says the brush suits all skin types. How your skin responds is individual, and the listing gives no testing data to measure it against.

The other end is metal and has a heating switch that holds 40°C. The listing suggests applying essence after cleansing, switching the heat on, and moving the metal end over the face in circles. It describes this as a way to help skincare products work better, which is a claim from the seller rather than a measured result. The listing does not state a run time, a charge time, or a battery size.

It is small, waterproof, and rechargeable, with a USB cable included. A charging adapter is not included, so you need your own. A stand base holds the brush upright after use, which keeps it from tilting over. Pink is the color shown here, and black and green are also offered. Whether pink suits your bathroom is a matter of taste, not specification.
