The short sleeve sweater for a desk day that turns into dinner

This is a short sleeve crewneck sweater top in a fine gauge knit, with a softly elastic hem and a pull on shape. The listing points it at office days, teaching days, travel and the weeks when a blazer goes on and off.

The fabric is a blend of 45% nylon, 30% anti pilling acrylic, 20% viscose and 5% wool, which the listing calls a fine gauge wool blend knit. Wool is the smallest share, and nylon and acrylic together make up most of the fabric. The listing describes a smooth handfeel and a softly structured finish, and says it is light enough for warm days. How soft or warm it feels is a matter of taste, and the listing gives no weight in grams.

The shape is a classic crewneck with short sleeves and a softly elastic hem, meant to drape without looking boxy. The listing suggests your usual size for a loose, comfortable fit. Sizes run XS for US 0 to 2, S for 4 to 6, M for 8 to 10, L for 12 to 14, XL for 16 to 18 and XXL for 20 to 22. If you are under 5 feet 4 inches, it suggests sizing down for a neater fit. No length measurement is given.

Care is simple on paper: machine wash in a laundry bag, which the listing says reduces friction and helps prevent pilling. It pulls on with no closure. It is also sold in black, cable navy blue and cable beige, and the listing says nothing more about those versions.
