The blender for slow Saturday mornings and frozen drinks

The listing for this blender gives one number that matters first: 1000 watts, drawn at 12.5 amps from a corded outlet. The pitcher is listed at 72 oz, though the liquid limit is 64 oz. Here is what those figures say in practice and what the listing leaves out.

The deciding figure is power. The listing gives 1000 watts and 12.5 amps, with a corded electric power source. Watts are a rating of the motor, not a measure of results, so the number says the motor is substantial but not how any recipe will turn out. The listing does not state a voltage, a motor speed, or a blade material, and it gives no timing beyond the phrase in seconds.

Capacity needs the same care. The pitcher is described as 72 oz, but the maximum liquid capacity is 64 oz, so 64 oz is the figure to plan around for smoothies and frozen drinks for a family. The listing says Total Crushing Technology blades handle ice, whole fruits and vegetables in seconds. That is a manufacturer claim, and no speed settings, program names, or blade count appear in the material. The listing also gives no fill guidance for ice.

Care is simple on paper. The pitcher is BPA free and dishwasher safe, and the lid comes with it. The listing does not say whether the lid or the blade assembly is dishwasher safe, so check the manual before loading them. A recipe guide is included, along with the 1000 watt motor base. Weight, cord length, and warranty terms are not stated.
