The wide leg pants for mornings that need to look put together

These wide leg pants are cut with a high waist, front pleats and a button and zipper closure, with an elastic section at the back of the waistband. They are 100% polyester, machine washable, and listed in sizes S to XXL, covering US 4 to 20, with two side pockets.

The listing describes a loose fit with a high waist, pleats at the front and a stretch back waistband. The front closes with a button and a zipper, and there are two side pockets. The listing says the legs drape, but it gives no measurements for rise, inseam or leg opening, so how they fall on you is something to judge from the photos.

The fabric is 100% polyester and the care instruction is machine wash. The listing calls the material skin friendly, but it does not say how heavy the fabric is, whether it is lined or whether it is sheer. Sizes run S for US 4 to 6, M for US 8 to 10, L for US 12 to 14, XL for US 16 to 18 and XXL for US 20. The listing does not give a waist or hip measurement for each size, so the US ranges are the only guide.

Colors named in the listing include black, khaki, beige, green, brown and pink. It suggests office days, interviews, vacation outfits and casual days out, which is a wide range for one pair of trousers. With one rail in the wardrobe, a single pair that covers a work day and a weekend is useful, and the colors give you a few ways to go. Whether a flowy wide leg suits your own style is a matter of taste. The pants are imported.
