The coffee maker for the quiet hour before the house wakes

This single serve coffee maker brews K Cup pods in five sizes, from 4 to 12 ounces, and holds 75 ounces of water in a removable reservoir. The number that matters most for a daily routine is that tank size, and the listing gives it plainly.

The listing gives five cup sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 ounces. It also lists a strong brew setting, an iced setting that brews hot over ice, and a hot water button the listing suggests for instant soups or oatmeal. The listing does not say how much stronger the strong setting is, so treat it as a label for a different brew, not a measured change.

The figure that decides daily use is the 75 ounce reservoir. At the 12 ounce size, that is a little over six cups of water, and at 8 ounces a little over nine, so the tank allows several brews before a refill. Larger pours use the tank faster. That is arithmetic on the stated capacity, not a claim from the listing. The reservoir is removable, which the listing says makes refilling easier.

In the box are one water filter handle and one filter. The listing says the filter helps beverages taste their best, which is a general statement and not a measurement. It gives no brew time beyond coffee made in minutes, no wattage, no dimensions and no weight. The finish is Brushed Gold, and the same machine is also sold in Brushed Silver and Brushed Slate.
