The jeans for the morning you are already running late

Some mornings there is really no time for buttons. These pull on jeans have an elastic waistband, a 7.5 cm high rise, and a straight leg cut in soft stretch denim, with no button and no zipper. Here is what the listing says, and what it leaves out.

The fabric is 56.5% cotton, 32.5% polyester and 11% spandex. That makes cotton the largest share, with spandex adding the stretch. The listing describes a four way stretch knit denim and calls it breathable. How soft it feels is partly a matter of taste, and no fabric weight is given, so the thickness of the denim is not something the specification settles.

The waistband is elastic and 7.5 cm high, with no button and no zipper, so these pull on without any fastening. The cut is a classic straight leg, sold in two lengths, and the listing says the lengths suit different heights, petite women included. The versions listed are Standard Black, Standard Whiskers Dark Wash and Petite Whisker Vintage Blue Wash. Inseam numbers and a size chart are not in the material, so check them on the product page before ordering.

On pockets the listing contradicts itself a little: the heading says five, the description says four, and it names a phone, keys, cards and lipstick as things to carry. The listing suggests wearing them for work, travel or weekends, and says they suit every season. Care is machine wash and the item is imported. No wash temperature is given, so the care label is the place to check.
