The inflatable ghost for the porch on a late October evening

This 5 FT inflatable ghost stands in the yard on a blower, with LEDs inside and a rotating colored light. The listing describes a polyester body, stakes, ropes and a storage bag. October weather is hard on anything left outside, so the details of how it is held down matter.

The shell is listed as high strength waterproof polyester, with stitching the listing says improves durability. Those two details do different jobs outdoors. Waterproof fabric keeps rain from soaking in and adding weight, while the seams are where an inflatable tends to give out first, since moving air pulls on them constantly. The listing says the material resists rips and tears but gives no fabric weight or coating type.

A blower with a 10FT power cord keeps air moving continuously, which matters because an inflatable is only a loose bag once the fan stops. The bottom zipper is meant to be zipped up while inflated to limit air leakage, and opened for fast deflation. Stakes and ropes are included, and the ropes can tie it to a tree or wall. Staking it to the ground is a listed step, which makes sense for a tall, light object in wind.

The listing does not state the blower wattage, the type or number of LEDs, or whether the plug is rated for rain. It gives no formal weather rating, so that is worth confirming before leaving it out through a wet week. A storage bag is included for the off season, and the listing says to put nothing into the blower or the decoration.
