The slingback flats for busy mornings and easy weekends

A slingback ballet flat with a 0.98 inch block heel, a round toe and a textile cap toe. The listing puts it somewhere between office mornings and weekend errands, and the materials are faux leather and textile on the outside, rubber underneath. Here is what that means.

The heel is a block heel measuring 0.98 inch, which is just under one inch. The listing calls that a walkable height. The back strap is what makes this a slingback, and the listing says it stays snug so the shoe stays in place. How snug it feels depends on the foot, and the listing gives no details about adjustment or strap material.

The outer is faux leather combined with textile, and the textile appears as the cap toe on the front of the shoe. The inside is faux leather as well, and the sole is rubber. The listing does not state insole padding, arch support, lining thickness or how flexible the sole is, so comfort here rests on the seller’s description and not on any measurement.

For styling, the listing points to jeans, dresses and skirts, and to both busy office mornings and weekend errands. A round toe with a textile cap toe is a quiet look, and whether it suits your wardrobe is a matter of taste. It is also sold in white, nude and black fabric versions. Sizing, width and care instructions are not given in the material provided. Nothing in the listing mentions waterproofing or weather use.
