The microwave for quiet kitchen mornings

This countertop microwave has a 0.7 cubic foot capacity and 700 watts of power, with 10 power levels and six presets. The listing gives those numbers plainly, and they decide what it suits: reheating, melting butter, popcorn and small daily jobs in a quiet kitchen.

The number that matters most is 700 watts. The listing calls this big power for a compact appliance, which is marketing rather than measurement: 700 watts is simply the rated output, and the listing does not state the interior dimensions, turntable diameter or overall size beyond the 0.7 cubic foot capacity. Ten power levels run from a low setting for melting butter up to maximum power, so gentler heating is possible without guessing at timing.

Controls are digital. Six presets cover popcorn, pizza, beverages, veggies, potatoes and leftovers, and the number keys set a cook time in minutes directly. A +30 seconds button adds extra time. A mute button turns off the beeps, which matters in a house where someone is asleep. The door has a child safety lock built into the handle, and it opens by pulling up on the top edge of the handle.

The black exterior is described as durable and wipes clean with a damp towel. The glass turntable is listed as top rack dishwasher safe. The listing names cETL approval and a one year assurance from Chefman, but it gives no preset times, no weight and no noise level. It also lists a stainless version in the same 0.7 cubic foot size.
