The toaster oven for slow Saturday mornings

The number that decides this oven is nine: the listing says it fits a 9 inch pizza or four slices of bread. It offers five functions, air fry, bake, broil, toast and keep warm, with a 30 minute timer. Below is what the listing states and what it does not say.

The interior is the figure to check first. The listing gives its capacity in two ways: a pizza up to 9 inches, or four slices of bread. It does not give interior dimensions, exterior dimensions, wattage or weight, so anyone with a tight counter or a particular pan in mind should look for those on the manufacturer’s page before buying. The bake pan, air fry mesh tray and wire rack are named, along with a removable crumb and drip tray, and the listing counts seven accessories in total without naming the other three.

Five functions are listed: air fry, bake, broil, toast and keep warm. The air frying claim of cooking with little to no oil is a description of the method, not a measurement, and no temperature range or fan speed is given. The same is true of EvenToast and the phrase no hot spots, which the listing presents as a result but supports with no test data. Treat both as the maker’s intent rather than a verified figure.

The listing gives a 30 minute timer. That is worth noting for recipes that run longer. The listing also says to use the drip tray when cooking and to keep food clear of the heating element, and it refers readers to the user manual for proper use.
