The fleece lined leggings for cold walks to the bus stop

Cold mornings ask for a layer that sits close and stays out of the way. These thermal leggings pair a fleece lining with a stretch blend of 87% polyester and 13% spandex, and the listing says they are meant for weather under 40°F. Here is what the specification actually tells you.

The fabric is 87% polyester and 13% spandex. The spandex share is what gives the stretch the listing describes as elasticity. The listing calls the fabric breathable and says it lifts sweat away quickly. It names weather under 40°F as the target, so think of these as a cold weather layer rather than something for mild days. The fleece lining is named in the title, though the listing gives no weight or thickness for it.

Storage is where the design gets practical for a small life. There are two thigh pockets deep enough for a smartphone, keys, a wallet and cards, plus one hidden pocket in the waistband. The waistband is wide and elastic, and the listing says it gives tummy control and helps stop the leggings sliding during workouts. How snug that feels is a matter of body and taste, and the listing gives no compression rating.

On sizing, the listing recommends the regular size over sizing up, since the fabric stretches. It suggests uses from daily wear to yoga, running, hiking, cycling, skiing and ice skating. Care is machine wash, and the item is imported. The listing does not state an inseam, a rise measurement or a fleece weight, so check the size chart before ordering.
