The ankle boots for the morning you want to look put together

These fitted ankle boots have a pointed toe, a covered block heel of 2.75 inches and a stretch shaft with an inside zipper. The upper is faux kidsuede, lined in faux leather, so the listing describes no real leather or suede.

The shaft is the part to look at first. It is a stretch faux kidsuede, a tight shaft, and it measures 5 inches from where the heel sits to the top. An internal zipper handles getting in and out, which is useful on a style this fitted. The listing does not give a calf circumference, so the amount of stretch is something to weigh against your own measurements.

Underfoot, the insole is padded with memory foam, and the sole is thermoplastic polyurethane, described as low profile, flexible and nonslip. Memory foam is named as the cushioning, though the listing gives no thickness. The heel is a covered block, 2.75 inches high. The listing does not state a waterproof rating, a width option or a break in period, so those are open questions.

The toe is a soft point and the shape is slim on the foot. Whether that suits you is a matter of taste, not measurement. The same boot is also sold in Beige Faux Leather, Black and Black Microsuede, and the listing says nothing more about those versions. Origin is listed as imported. Calling it a wardrobe staple is the listing’s wording, not a spec. The size chart is not part of this listing text, so check it before ordering.
