The ankle boots for a quick zip and out the door morning

These ankle boots have a two inch stacked block heel, an inside zipper for getting them on, and a faux suede upper. The listing describes a padded memory foam insole and a flexible sole, which is the part that matters on an ordinary day.

The upper is described as faux kid suede, with a faux leather lining. Nothing in the listing says the material is real suede or real leather, so treat these as fully synthetic. That is useful to know when you are choosing: the whole boot is made of alternative materials. Fine grosgrain piping trims the boot, and the heel is a stacked faux leather block, called a Cuban heel in the listing.

The heel is 2 inches, and the shaft measures 2.75 inches from where your heel sits to the top, so this is a short boot that ends around the ankle. The sole is flexible and made not to slip. The insole is padded with memory foam, and the zipper sits on the inside of the boot for easy entry. How that foam feels after a full day is a matter of your own feet, and the listing gives no measurement for it.

Several things are not stated: water resistance, width, how the sizes run, and how to clean the faux suede. Whether grosgrain piping on a block heel suits you is a matter of taste, not measurement. If you are thinking about a long day on foot, the 2 inch height and the flexible sole are the two details worth weighing. The boots are imported.
