The ankle boots for the walk to work when the weather turns

Some mornings you want one pair of shoes that goes with the jeans, the skirt and the long coat without much thought. These ankle boots have a 2 inch stacked heel, a side zipper and a memory foam insole, and they come in five other versions.

The upper is faux kidsuede, lined in faux leather, and the listing describes the whole range as alternative leather rather than the real thing. Fine grosgrain piping is the one decorative detail named, and the heel is a stacked block covered in faux leather, described as a Cuban heel. Whether the suede look suits you is a matter of taste, and the colors are a quicker way to decide than any measurement.

The heel measures 2 inches, and the sole is listed as flexible and nonslip. The shaft is 2.75 inches high, measured from where your heel sits to the top, so these are short boots. A zipper on the inside makes them easy to get on, and the insole is padded with high quality memory foam. Padding and flexibility are what the listing promises for comfort, though how long you can wear them depends on your feet and is not something a spec can tell you.

The listing does not state the weight, the sole material, the width, whether the boots are waterproof, or how they run in size, so check the size chart and the reviews before ordering. Besides this version there are Taupe, Cognac, Black Faux Leather, Black and Black Microsuede. The listing marks them as imported.
